I am concerned that you or your loved one feel that you have been injured. This is a place you as a patient can go to ask a Nurse . If you or your family member believe you have been injured by a medical device, a drug, a medical experience, a nurse or a doctor, gather the medical records from the related facility BEFORE contacting an attorney. Take the medical records with you to the attorney's office. This will save you time and money. The medical facility will require that you fill out a form requesting your records to be provided directly to you. Many attorneys will give you an initial consult at no charge. Another option, you could ask a nurse before talking to your attorney. One of the services I provide, is an initial review of your medical records put into a chronological report form, that you could then take to your attorney. You would be asked by me, to sign a form, giving me permission to your your medical records. In this initial review, I would provide for your attorney a chronology of the medical records, a list of any missing records that become obvious as I look over the medical records you provide and I would also provide questions that you may ask the attorney or a medical expert. My rates are substantially less than an attorney's hourly rate and we would agree up front on the expected cost depending on how many pages of medical records you have. This may prove to be very cost effective for you, as you would go in to the attorney's office with a medical review summary that would assist them in their initial review of your potential case. I hope this information is helpful to you and I hope you will gain answers to the concerns that you currently have. My website is not a place to go for "medical advice". If you need medical advice, call your doctor, or in an emergency, dial "911". This blog will be read and answered periodically.
